Meet Marisa.

Marisa is gifted with a profound intuition for healing and a strong motivation to encourage and help guide others on their journey to their Highest Self. She believes that everyone is worthy of feeling resilient, in tune, awake, and fully connected to everything. With trust in life’s blueprint and a balanced approach to the healing arts, Marisa will meet you where you are at, hold and support you within your process and continue to help nourish all the seeds planted deep inside of you. She is passionately devoted to her calling to help achieve an inclusive, harmonious, and universal wholeness.

She is an accomplished swimmer, competitive trail runner, paddle boarder and avid outdoor adventurer who is deeply passionate about and called to growth and holistic wellness. She spends her free time outdoors, exploring new trails, camping with friends, and chasing waterfalls throughout the Ozark mountains. She loves to connect others to the many splendors of nature. She has worked as an activist for clean water and environmental conservation for over 5 years and believes that since we are of the Earth, one of our great missions should be to take care of and protect it.

Her journey of service to humanity and healing practices began over a decade ago with her introductory years spent in the traditional Western medical system, providing hospital in-patient care while earning her degree in Exercise and Movement Science. Her commitment and passion for expanding the overall health and wellness of those around her shifted her path into the Sports Medicine field, where she has since worked as a certified Exercise Physiologist and personal trainer, swim coach, trauma-informed yoga instructor and collegiate university triathlon coach.

Marisa is dedicated to inner work and personal discovery. Most of her life has been spent as a seeker of opportunities and experiences aimed at discovering the expansive ways a person can work to heal, transform and see “beyond the surface”. Through traveling the world and being open to all of the methods of spiritual awakening and energetic healing available, she has been able to gain a grounded calling for and authentic knowing of what it really takes to achieve a resilient level of inner peace, heart discernment, interpersonal attunement, and a compassionate love for self and others. Marisa understands the natural ebbs and flows inherent in the higher frequency of all living beings and their purpose towards fulfillment, both within themselves and for all that surrounds them.

Kambo harmoniously and unequivocally made itself present on Marisa’s unveiled Source-led path, and after her first experience, she immediately felt and heard the call: "Heal from the natural remedies of the Earth." This magnetized her towards the art of natural, holistic healing of the mind, body and spirit. In heeding this call, a profound awakening occurred within her. This awakening led Marisa on a pursuit to becoming an Advanced Certified Kambo Practitioner so she could share this life changing, long- revered Amazonian tradition and all its many benefits with her community and to use it as a catalyst for, amongst many other things, alleviating depression, aiding in pain relief, promoting mental clarity and offering a full body detox and cleansing.

Marisa’s extensive coaching experience as well as her comprehensive background in yoga, meditation, alternative healing modalities, nutrition and healthcare ensures that your Kambo sessions will be both safe and transformational. She works with your true absolute being, blending traditional wisdom, practices and understanding with modern knowledge and studies. Before, during and after your session she will provide intuitive guidance and encouragement to help you improve your wellbeing, achieve your goals, and support your best possible life.

Regardless of ability or personal decision to sit with Kambo, Marisa advocates for everyone to get outside and enjoy the healing properties of nature, of which there is no shortage of research to support. Time spent in nature can boost health in many ways: encouraging  exercise, breathing fresh air and letting the quiet serenity calm the mind.
